Optical Character Recognition
Firmex Search now supports optical character recognition. Once enabled, OCR is able to recognize characters and numbers in your scanned legal documents, contracts, and financial statements. OCR is free to use.

Two-Factor Authentication with Google Authenticator
We are introducing a new method of two-step verification through the Google Authenticator app. This gives administrators an additional, more secure method of securing your VDR. For users, it’s a more secure and easy to use way of authenticating your identity than SMS text message and email.

Firmex Tip of the Month: Excel Import Template
To save time and reduce errors when adding users to your project, check out our User Import Template. If you find yourself adding more than a few users at a time, the template is a great time saver. Or, instead of adding users manually, you can send the template to external parties to fill in, and then import it into your project.
